These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Coalesce mobile application and associated website ("Service") operated by Coalesce ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Not medical advice
Coalesce provides AI-generated training plans, nutrition targets, and coaching responses for informational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a licensed healthcare professional before beginning any training or nutrition program, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or health concern.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Coalesce. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for loss or damage resulting from unauthorized account access.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- The Pro plan is billed monthly at $7.99 or at the rate displayed at time of purchase.
- Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store via RevenueCat. Cancellation, refund, and billing dispute processes are governed by Apple's terms.
- A 7-day free trial is offered at enrollment. You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
- Circumvent access controls or subscription entitlements.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service.
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful content to the AI coach.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the training logs, notes, and data you enter. You grant us a limited license to process that data to operate the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.
7. Intellectual property
The Coalesce name, logo, app design, and all underlying software are our exclusive property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or proprietary materials.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated plans will be suitable for your specific needs or health status.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to injuries resulting from following AI-generated training plans.
10. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify these Terms or the Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the app settings or by contacting support.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [State].
